When I sit down at night to add another post I try to add content that might help someone better understand the local programs process. Just about every place I have ever been there has been someone who took the time to take me under their wing and say “…ok, here is the deal…” and then proceed to show me how things really work. That is how I approach this blog.

I try to add content that is relevant, and I try to keep the posts fairly short. Yes, I know they sometimes run on. If you know me at all, then you know that can be a little “chatty Chuck” at times.

I know that there are others out there reading this blog. Please leave some feedback. Are there issues you want clarification on? Are there problems that you are running into with the process? Do the posts make sense?

Hopefully some of you will be moved to leave some feedback. I would like to thank all of you that read.

I work for Askew, Hargraves, Harcourt and Associates, Inc. here in Nashville, Tennessee. The short version of what I do is that we help local governments spend the Federal funds they get from TDOT on road, and bridge projects.
